I am experimenting with different coloured gemstones for the Peridot Empress Ring.

Here, I am holding the first samples of these exquisite, hand cut blue topaz gemstones. I absolutely adore this design in blue so I have had three pieces cut to order for the Blue Topaz Empress. 

The pink tourmaline is proving difficult to get a really clean cut and of course the deep champagne pink colour that I really want. But as ever - I am preserving on my search! Pink tourmaline in this size, shape and colour is hard to get now. I managed to get just one stunning piece of rubellite tourmaline cut to order with which I will make a sample Pink Tourmaline Empress ring, most likely in rose gold.
