Ethiopian Opals. What absolute corkers. Total whoppers. I didn't ask how many carats, I was too sucked in to their incredible display of Northern Lights.

This is what I love most about my gem hunts. I just happened to stumble in on a huge opal deal and got to ogle these beauties.

Get your disco lights on baby, it's time to dance!  When I do stumble across finds like these, it makes all the terrible Indian Uber drivers, near-death bicycle experiences, broken down tuk-tuks and being a lone European woman traipsing the back streets of Jaipur, all the more worthwhile. You've got to walk the walk to find the magic in life. I am coming back to this packet tomorrow. Today the universe blessed me with a touch of multicoloured gemstone magic.
